"Hello!

I just wanted to send an update note about a dog you rescued and we adopted in January. Her new name is Barley formerly known as Halle and she has been a wonderful addition to our family! She had a good upbringing in cold cold Connecticut but we have moved to Florida about a month ago and she loves every minute! Barley has come accustom to the surf, sun, and sand. She also has a new friend while we are living with John's parents. His name is Skipper and he is a mini dachshund that has become her best friend. :) Barley brings many laughs, love, and entertainment for all of us and has such a beautiful character. We are actually thinking about making her a visiting dog that goes to assisted living areas to bring cheer to the elderly!

More importantly, I just wanted to let all of you know what a wonderful thing you are doing and you are true heroes for rescuing these dogs. Keep the faith and the hard work going !

PS Here is a picture of Barley, her first trip on the ocean on John's parents boat. The moment she got on she owned the sea! ;) "
