Capone
Capone's new parents wanted to touch base and tell us about how it's been with their new boy so far:
"I've been really bad about having folks send in pictures and stories...I'll start working on it, I promise.
Capone has been such an amazing addition to our family. We had just decided that we would wait a bit to start actively looking at adoption when we saw his adorable face on the HWR website. After contacting the rescue and his foster mom, we realized he was going to be the perfect match for us and everything just fell into place.
He was our wedding gift to each other and we picked him up from his foster home on our way home from our honeymoon! Capone loves to snuggle and play fetch in our backyard. He's such a lovebug and can't get enough of doggy day care... he LOVES it!
He also has a best friend in our cousin's boxer, Sadie and they play together whenever we get the chance. He's definitely enjoying his life off the streets of Brooklyn and putting on some much needed weight. Everyone loves him and he's been the best decision we made!
Thank you HWR, specifically Nanette and Melissa for all of your help! I'm sure we'll be back for a friend for Capone at some point!
