Rocco is a dog that will melt your heart as soon as you set eyes on him. He was found completely emaciated and barely able to walk about a year ago. Since then, he has been in foster care where he put on some much needed weight and began building his muscles again. Though he has a clearly sad and neglected life, this guy is the nicest dog you will ever meet, and he is a perfect breed ambassador!!

I first got to know Rocco recently when his foster home had an emergency and moved out of state and he had to come back to the TASC facility where he is housed in a run with another dog. This guy has shown me that he is just the most gentle, loving, kind guy ever. When you look at him you cant help but want to hug him because he has such sad eyes, but such a big mushy head and huge body (he is not tall, but he is extremely thick and has very bowed legs, he is just a big mush!) He is simply a teddy bear. He will be perfect for almost any kind of home! He loves people of all sizes and ages, and is extremely gentle. He is also wonderful with other dogs (he is somewhat submissive to the spitz mix female he is currently sharing his run with), and he ignores cats.

He would love a mellow loving lifestyle where he can go for car rides and do lots of snuggling and relaxing, and go for walks in the park, and just enjoy life.

This dog will for sure steal the heart of anyone who meets him with his loving, sweet nature and gentle kisses. If this big handsome mush is just the guy you are looking for, then please submit an application asap! This guy has so much love to give, he is just waiting for someone to give it to!
