From Cash's foster mom:
I included a picture of Cash taken when we went swimming at Betty's Neck. We took one of the play groups from doggy day care. You can't see the others, they are already in the water. Cash is such a good dog, he never goes to far ahead, and stops to wait for me to catch up if I lag behind. It's great and the dogs have a blast. Charlie (Cash's foster brother) is learning to swim, and Cash is only interested in wadding out a bit and then running and spashing his way back to shore. Then he dashes out again. I think he knows we get soaked every time he does it!

Cash is the perfect pet for someone who wants a dog that embodies the very best qualities of his breed. He is sweet, devoted, loving, playful and slightly goofy (don't tell him I said that). He is very enthusiastic when he plays, but also loves to be a couch potato. He is a friendly guy and has never met a person he didn't think was absolutely wonderful. Despite his obvious love for everyone he meets, he will put his family on a pedestal and love them unconditionally; this is a dog who needs to be loved just as much as he needs to love somebody.

Cash has the nicest, softest ears I've ever felt on a dog, so it is easy to pat him and shower him with affection (which he eats up with a spoon!). He is good with other dogs and currently lives with 2 other males, one who is a very dominant Basset Hound. He does need to be introduced properly and doesn't like to compete for toys. My two cats are dog savvy, so we haven't had a problem there. One of my cats is particularly brave and will rub up against him and insist on laying at his head when it is time for bed. I keep a close eye on the situation and Cash has never given me cause to worry.

I believe that the perfect situation for Cash will be in a home with someone who understands what it means to be pack leader and can balance that with the love and affection he craves and deserves.
