Dignan loves to smile! And thank goodness he finally has something to smile about.

Rescued by a caring pit enthusiast, Dignan was brought to the safe compounds of a very compassionate veterinary practice. His guardian angel could not believe her eyes at poor Dignan's condition. His right elbow apparently been fractured. But instead of seeking medical care, his leg was wrapped up tight and tied with shredded pieces of cloth. We have no idea how long this gentle boy had to endure pain and suffering in this condition. It is believed that Dignan had been kicked, at a tender young age, and his elbow left to mend on it's own.

This sweet young man bears no ill will towards people. Once you start to pet him he doesn't want you stop. His foster mom gets such delight at seeing him smile!! And oh, can he smile! He does not let his past hinder him in any way. Dignan is an extremely fast learner who's working hard at mastering his potty and crate training. He is being taught his basic commands and progressing with flying colors. He thoroughly enjoys the company and play time with his canine foster brothers and sister. Please open your heart to Dignan and give him the loving home he truly deserves.
