Here's former HWR dog Jada (left) cuddling for a nap with her baby brother; and again with Braun and Pickles, all posing for a family portrait!.
Below is some of what Jada's parents had this to say about this pretty girl:
"About 2 & 1/2 years ago, my fiance and I adopted a dog named "Jada". I'm sure alot of people who frequent the site
will remember her...once you see her she's hard to forget. She had been abused and after rescue she lived in a
kennel. She would not approach people, was afraid of everyone, everything, besides being a little intimidating looking. After several trips out to visit Jada, she finally accepted us and allowed us to play with her and pet her. She chose us, and we took her home. She's truly a new dog! Jada is still a little shy around new people, but there is no one that she won't accept as a new friend. She loves every animal she meets, and makes sure that she takes care of us....keeping us warm in bed at night, keeping us rich in kisses, and making sure our laps are always full of a soft warm face to pet.
Jada mothered an abandoned day-old kitten that was thrown out into the vet parking lot in the middle of the night. That baby is now her best friend, "Pickle". To give Jada someone a little more "sturdy" to play with, we adopted a new pitbull baby that we named "Braun". He was abandoned and adopted by us at 7 weeks old and instantly became Jada's new baby. He's now 8 months old, sturdy and strong, and a great playmate for Jada. Braun has also taught her that its o.k. to approach new people that want to meet them and helped her get over some of the fears that we had not been able to help her with.
Jada is a wonderful, sweet, gentle soul, who has made our family complete and full of love. We couldnt ask for a more wonderful dog."
