Jaida
Jaida's forever family tells us:
"Hi there - Just wanted to let you know that Jaida is doing great. She was skittish and shy for the first week or two, but after 2 months she is now the snuggly, sweet, trusting pit she was meant to be. In the beginning, she actually preferred being alone to being with me or my other dog Eli (e.g., if Eli and I were in the kitchen, she'd go in the living room, and vice versa), but now she is the biggest attention hound around, crawling in my lap whenever I sit down! What a switch. Turns out she also sits, stays, and speaks, which was a nice surprise. Still working on the housetraining, but she'll get it in time. I'm attaching 3 photos - one from Jaida's first day home, Jaida lounging on the couch (now very much at home), and Jaida snuggling with my other dog Eli (7 yr old pit/Rottie mix rescued in Hartford in 2000).
