Max's dad tells us:

"Max has been a part of our family for a month (6-27-05). He is a wonderful friend and companion. Max loves the long walks my wife and I take him on. He adores the car rides. When in our yard Max rolls on his back, and YES, gets the belly rub he wants. In our house he goes from person to person. Gets a hug then comfortably sits where he can watch and guard us both. His size is menacing to some people, but his temperment is so sweet that everyone he meets ends up petting him. He so craves the attention. In return he gives doggy kisses, a wagging tail, and his eyes sparkle. Max has filled a void my wife and I had. He is in our hearts and we know he loves us dearly in return. Thank You HWR for bringing Max to us. And I am sure he is thanking you too! "
