Here's what Ronin's new family says about their boy:

"We adopted this beautiful boy July 2002 from you guys. He used to be called Tiger, but that was just a shelter name, so we named him Ronin (from the Japanese tale of the masterless samurai). He was just about 5-7 months old, skinny and miserable when we got him, but he beefed up rather quickly, as you can see!

He's an absolute doll, his temperament is something like "SpongeBob", he's very silly, and very very sweet, and just happy HAPPY HAPPY! He loves our older Rottie, Daisy (she's 10 this January), and our cats. He especially likes our cat Claus, who enjoys the rougher wrestling type games (and has a high tolerance for doggie drool...)

He's great with our kids, my son is now 5, and my daughter is 2. Ronin is so eager to please that he obeys the kids when they give obedience commands as well - it's cute to see my tiny (20lb) daughter calling him to come from downstairs, and having Ronin bound in the room and sit so attentively. It helps that my daughter is very generous with sharing her snacks..."
