ROMEO Male 8 yrs

Romeo is an adorable, sweet guy who our hearts broke for. This guy lived with his family since he was a little pup… and at 8 years old they decided after taking very poor care of him, that they would get a new puppy and dump Romeo off at the pound. Sadly, the pound they chose to bring him to also has a very high rate of euthanasia. This guy came in, his owners thought nothing of leaving him behind like he was disposable… after he devoted 8 years to them. He had skin and eye infections and wasn’t neutered or really taken care of at all… He was destined to die alone and unwanted… Until we found out about him! more...

TERRY Female 2 yrs approx

Sweet Terry needs a loving foster home or forever home!!! She was rescued from a kill-shelter with only a day to spare and placed in a temporary foster home. The foster home was kind enough to help save her life but because it was temporary we had to move her into a kennel. Although she is well cared for it's no place like home. She spends much of her days in a run and her naps and evenings of sleep are on a cot or more often then not a cold concrete floor. She is alive and so grateful to be alive but she hasn't had the chance to truly live. We would love to see her in a home where should can run and play and be with others, where she can cuddle with her head on your lap but most of all be where she can receive the love and attention she so deserves.. more...

TROT Male 2 yrs approx

Now here's a guy that loves to meet people. Look at that face, can't you tell? Trot is a very well rounded pup. He meets and greets people with licks and kisses. ROSIE Female 5 mos

Rosie is approx five months old and is as sweet as pie. She is very attractive, sporting a slate gray aka blue coat with a splash of white. Although it seems like she's too young to have a story, this little one had a rough start in life (you’d never know given her absolutely wonderful personality). Rosie was found at approx eight weeks old, alone, in the cold, roaming a busy parking lot. BOOMER Male 5-6 mos approx

Write-up to come soon but get your application in today!!! This five-to-six-month-old pup is an absolute mush and what a good boy. Here's a little something his foster mom had to say about Boomer: "Boomer is soooo good, he's even good with cats! We went visiting yesterday over my sister's (she has two cats) and Boomer could care less about them. I am also working on his basic commands and he knows sit and come very well, we will start on down this week. He will also drink water with both my male and female dogs and will sit and be patient for his treats with all three of the others next to him. This is a super nice boy!!!" more...

TUCKER Male 11 mos

Tucker's nick name is "The Cuddlier". Tucker has only been in his foster home for a short time but his foster mom tells us that cuddling is his favorite past time. He is blending in so well in his foster home! Enjoying the company and playtime with his foster siblings. And what a smart young man! Has learned his basic commands and even has his housebreaking rules down already! Tucker is thankful to be out of the shelter he was "rescued" from and into the comforts of a nice warm home. more...

LILY Female 1½ yrs old

To know Lily is to love Lily. This wonderfully sweet little girl was rescued from a shelter RIGHT in the nick of time, then whisked off to a caring and devoted foster home for some much-needed TLC. For you see, Lily was not in the best condition, her coat was thinning and lacked luster. Lily also clearly needed to gain some weight. All of this was due to lack of care and proper nutrition. From a Hot Water Rescue volunteer: I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Bradley for almost 2 years!!! He was found as a tiny puppy wondering alone upstate NY. He was (still is) an absolute cutie and was adopted out in no time. His adopter gave him more then most. Armani is such a big mush!!! He loves people and other dogs and is such a good boy. He had a family once and even a sister. His family fell on hard times and could not keep him. Times are hard and people have been reluctant to open their homes and hearts to dogs in need. Just this week two dogs that we were working on were put to sleep and many more go down every day; ( Please don't let Armani suffer the same fate!    more...
